Broke a string tonight

With my Martin Recurve, I broke the string tonight where it looped at top. Any of you guys ever done that? I had an arrow in it when it broke and it fired off so I shouldn't hurt my bow should I? The guy I bought it off of said barely shot. Right I thought the string had broken strands but din't know if that was just a string for a longbow.

Let LBR make you a string and you won't have to worry about that! His strings are top notch.....

Boy, every hobby I go after, I have experience all the failures:)

I guess a guy has to smile and say "I wouldn't have it any other way".

I would also suggest getting a few strings from Chad. I am always happy with them and wouldn't buy anything else.
