PSE impala
 
i receved one for christmas two year ago a have goten my shot range to 20 yards. my bow is 45 pounds, is this good for whitetail deer?

If you have good arrow flight, a sharp broadhead (no mechanicals, preferably a 2 blade), and can put it in the boiler room, it's more than enough.

In the latest Traditional Bowhunter Magazine a 12 year old has taken a deer with a 33@22 longbow, and a female archer took a NICE bull elk with her 46# Longbow. With proper arrows, and shaving sharp broadheads I believe45 will get the job done. There is a thread going down at the bottom of the page on this very subject. There is alot of good info in there.

I should have said 45# is more than enough. If you are only pulling 20" (extreme example), you will have to go up in poundage.
