Cresting & Dipping wood arrows?

I have been cresting and dipping my own arrows, and for cresting arrows ihave found that the Krylon enamel paints have been the best for cresting arrows, but when it comes to dipping them in the laquer, the enamel cresting runs down the shaft of the arrow--so frustrating!! I have beautiful arrows till the dip! Does anyone know what is compatible for the Krylon enamel paint that i can be using for the final dip?, besides using laquer?
Thank you for any advice,

RE: Cresting & Dipping wood arrows?

There is product sold at home depots here in Florida , it is called Chattahooche rock sealer, I've being using that for years. In florida this is used to seal very small pebbles called chatahooche rock, which is glued to the floor around swimming pools, but it is wonderful sealer and works over enamel, but enamel should be left to dry over 24 hours before using any sealer.
