AAAHHHHHHUUUUUUNNNNN...........!!
I did it again!!
Been bowhunting for 35 years, and DIDN'T PICK A SPOT!!
Yes, I shot over a very good buck....!@#$%^&&! <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
I guess senility has slowly crept in.

John- all deer will croutch down for a split second before they string jump your shot- always aim a couple of inches lower than you think you should and the deer will drop into the shot.

John,
Senility is a state of mind. The only problem is figuring out what state you are in!
You sure it wasn't a good dose of buck fever??!! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I did the same thing yesterday. I watched this forkhorn walk into my stand. PA has a three point per side antler restriction now. He walked into 15 yards and I noticed he had a brow tine on the one side, making him legal game. He spooked and ran out to twenty yards and all I thought was that he was going to get away. I didn't pick a spot and shot right over him. The funny thing was that when he was just a four point, I picked spots on him for fifteen minutes. Amazing!
