Gobbler Guillotine

I've heard about the Gobbler Guillotine and I was wondering what you thought of it? Do you think it would work very efectivly with a 40 lbs recurve or would you need a stronger bow? Just curious on your view of it.

I've watched the video on their site, and honestly it seems like a gimmick to me. Still has a propensity to wound--for instance, that one farm-raised turkey that got it's throat cut with the shot that barely connected. If that had been a wild bird, most likely they would have never known that it was hit--it wouldn't have just hung around until it bled out. Be a devil to find a quiver that they would fit in too!

No idea if a 40# bow would be enough with those heads--40# would be plenty with a regular 2, 3, or 4 blade though.

I agree with LBR, it seems like a gimmick, and will still wound a bird. Besides that, look at the target you have to shoot at? A turkeys head is a very small target, even smaller than their heart/lung/spine area.
