Last weekend, small game and a question.
My arrows seem to be tailing to the left, would that mean they are over or under spined. I have been changing a few things.
Grip issueworked its self out, thanks for the help. Managed to hunt sat and sun, with no kills. Saw a toatal of 6 grouse and 1 rabbite, no shots. Lots of deer activity still, may get out one more time for big game befor end of year. Good news, came home with all the arrows I left with. Happy Holidays all. |
RE: Last weekend, small game and a question.
There's no way to tell from afar whether the fishtailing is spine related or if you've simply let your bow's brace height slip down. Try bumping up the brace about a half inch and see if it helps before going nuts about spine. ;)

AP, Moved the brace height up 1/4in and things got worse. Moved it down 1/2in and the arrows started flying great again. What the heck is that about? Shot again to day and it was amazing; shooting better now then I was in the fall. I can see arrow flight so good with the snow on the ground.
Thanks for the help, I always want to change my equipment the min. something goes wrong. |
