Box Blinds

Has anyone tried hunting out of a box blind with traditional equipment. Due to dizzy spells, I have had to limit myself to hunting off of the ground. I had a Double Bull blind but it was trashed by a trespasser. I would like to build some ground blinds of some sort that the trespassers won't bother. I like not having to carry a blind out to the field every morning.(Getting Lazy!)Dick

RE: Box Blinds

All the box blinds I've ever hunted out of have been built for rifle shooters and they all had low ceilings. But, if you're gonna build your own, then no sweat. Just build 'em with enough ceiling height to keep from clanking your limb tips when you shoot.

Try setting down in a chair hold your bow the way you will be shooting it get someone to measurehow high the bow is then add 6'' to a foot this is how high to build it. It works for me
