Rabbits and Grouse.

This past weekend I managed to get out both days for some small game action (if you want to call it that). On saterday it was 10 degrees with a good north wind,me and my Dad headed south to see if we could bump any grouse. He carried a gun and I had my bow. With both dogsrunning weonly managed to see one grouse and not get a shoot. Had a few good points but all that was there were tracks. I killed 5 pine trees and one peice of ice.

On sunday the weather was somiler but a little colder, around 5 degres. Me and a freind headed toa hudge tree farm that is around 7 years old that holds tuns ofrabbits. There were tracks all over, but none that looked fresh. we had my dog with us (he is a bird dog so hunting rabbits is a no no, but I dont give a rip). My buddy killed one rabbit that I missed, and we say one other. We also managed to kick up two grouse but no shots. Once agin allI killed were plants, but had a great time.

The hex points are still under investigation, and I wont know more if my luck stays the same. More snow this weekend so I will be back at it

Just thought I would share. Anyoneelsegetting out?

It's just now getting cold enough around here to start thinking about chasing bunnies. Might even get some ice and snow here tomorrow, and I'm getting the itch to make meat with that bow I just got...
