Do guys eat the hogs they shoot.
 

I was hunting with a freind the other day who was a guide in Texas a while ago. He told me that hogs are hunted all year. Do people eat these hogs or is it just part of pest control.

That would be cool to be able to hunt big game all year.

OH heck yeah! Get some small piggies or quarter them up and get you an electric smoker with a mix of oak and hickory (or cherry for a bit sweeter different taste). Well any smoker, but electric is the easiest and keeps the meet really moist because it's a sealed environment.....

Time to go find me a pig!

Wildpork is so good...! Just take one bite. You'll go home and slap your momma for feeding you that store bought stuff for so many years. ;)

The only "wild" pigs in my area are in a high fence hunting area. I dont know anyone who has been there, but to me it seems like an expensive way to ge meat.

Every once and a while one gets out and some guy shoots it.
