Default I cant believe its almost over.

I only have one week tell gun season opens. I sat tonight and didnt see anything but a yote and a rabbit, ow yah anda mouse that tryed to eat my quiver.

All kinds of people in the woods today, I got kicked off CFR land twice (CFR is public land), by people who said they were the owners. Iwas in a short car chase with a guy who I calleda $^&$ing )*&(&&amp()(*. If I could write what I called him you would know why he chased me. He told me I was on his land and when I explaned to him that I knew who owned the land and that they made it CFR 5 years ago he got mad, and so did I.We exchange words and I rolled up the window and left in a hurry, I am not much of a fighter . I lost him in no time flat.

It was only a week ago that I had the woods to my self, now everyone thinks they own it. Some one put a ground blind about 50 yards from my tree stand and started baiting. The deer no longer use the trail under my stand because of this, the head right to his bait.

Sorry for the rant I just had to vent alittle.

I guess I still have some time to fill a tag.

i dislike hunters that set up right next to your stand. other day i was walking to a spot and walked right under a guy[:@]wanted to kick myself in the A## for that one. he laughed and didn't mind. but this guy that is BAITING RIGHT FREEEGIN NEXT TO U. OOOOH. i'd leave a note to the guy,A REAL NICE ONE! maybe convince him to move shop or u could just use his blind when hes not there.
good luck with this bro, hope it works out for the both of u.

That's the problem today. The camo's just too damn good! Personally, I've never had that happen, but you just don't know you're walking by someone until you get really close. To prove how good camo is today, at my lake, my cousins and I like to play a game where I put on all my camo and just go hide in a small, designated area of the woods behind our cabin. There has been many times where they've walked mere inches away from me and not even noticed me.

hunting public land is touchy. two years ago i hunted county forest land for the first time ever. i had like three people walk in on me after day light. Then at about 8 am i was getting ready to peg a doe when i heard a rifle crack off and she piled up. one of the guys that walked by earlier put his climber up not even 100 yards from my stand. i'd like to call him a dick, but i didn't know if he had been hunting that piece for years. maybe not, but thats what you will get with the public land. its touchy. since then i try to walk in at least a half mile, if not more, as most public hunters seem to be pretty lazy and park by the road. a lot of the public lands that i frequent have big bucks on them even being heavily hunted, they just head for the thick when the season opens up. i have also noticed that the deer movement drops off/ changes when phesant season opens up as well. like i said, public land is touchy.

Cabage, were I live most of the land is public. It is called CFR, I have no idea what the means, but it is all logging, rail road, or mine land that they let the public use and they get a tax brake.

The only time I ever have any truble is the week befor and the first week of rifle season. Everyone gets all amped up and think that all the land is for them only. For that reason I dont hunt the first week of rifle season, the second week hits and it is like bow season once agin, no one in the woods.
