new bow

Hi Guys, I picked up a new(to me)bow last week, It's a Martin-Hatfield LH 65lb recurve this bow is a take down. Anybody have comments on it good/bad.

65# is pretty stiff for most folks, but in my experience it's a pretty good bow if you don't draw much over 28". A Hatfield td was among my first recurves--for the longest time, I thought recurves were supposed to stack once you got past 28"(I drew 31-32" back then).

Yes it is, But it's all what you get used to, if it's too much I will put it on ebay. I was shooting 50 and that was no problem. I believe I'm up for the challenge

That's a pretty big jump. I felt a big difference just going from 49# up to 55#, took me a couple of months to adjust and become consistent. Maybe it will work for you. Good luck and good shooting.

May be a little on the stiff side. Try this site: http://www.arrowsbykelly.com/Spine_Charts.html
