Moosejaw longbow question

Has anyone owned or shot a Moosejaw longbow or have you heard anything about them? I am considering a new one but would like to get some opinions first. Thanks!

I've never even seen one in real life, much less shot one. I have heard good things about them, but that's all I can say. Sorry.

I've shot one or two, but never owned one. First impression, I didn't like the grip at all. I'll say up front that I am picky about grips--I like one that fits my hand, and I hate (pretty much refuse) to adjust my hand to the grip. It was a basic Hill style grip if I remember correctly. Draw and speed was good, not much handshock but more than I care for (makes my elbow sore if a bow has much at all). Finish was rough, but I think Gary is taking a little more time with that now (don't hold me to that, because I'm not sure).

On a 1-10 scale (based on my very limited experience with them), I'd give it a high 6--not quite a 7. I haven't found a perfect 10 yet (not likely there is such a bow for me).

Not to get off topic, but chad, what would a perfect 10 consist of, for you? Feel free to start a new thread:D
