Arrows for 50# recurve

I just picked up a 50# PSE impala as a starter bow (and maybe to deer hunt with in the future)...My question is what size arrows should i get (weight and grain tips) to practice with and eventually hunt. Should i go by the regular arrow charts that list the size and weight. ...leaning towards carbons at about 29 inches long

RE: Arrows for 50# recurve

If you're leaning towards carbons, ignore the charts. Get the smallest spine range possible such as GT 3555s or CE 4560s and put a butt load of weight up front.

RE: Arrows for 50# recurve

I have a 50# bow. My best arrow out of the bow is 2016s @ 29". 2nd best are Gt 3555s @ 30.5".

Good Luck
