How tight's your grip?
Just curious. Coming from a compound, I try to make sure the bow is loosely held but with a secure grip, if that makes any sense.
I've been using a storm cloth glove on my bow hand, it's really slick, keep an open tension free grip while I draw, settle into anchor and let the bow settle where it wants, then lightly gripping it so that I don't drop it upon release. Is there a better way, or is it an individual thing? So far the results have been scaringly good. |

If it works, don't mess with it.;)
That's kinda the way I grip my bows. but without the glove. |

:D
I was shooting without the glove for some time. The glove and finish on the martin seem like a good combo, and my shooting consistency has markedly improved. Really lets the bow settle in line with where it wants to be with no effort on my part. |

I agree, if it works, then use it. I used to use silk glove liners to get the same effect.

If I put a "death grip" on my bow, I will invariably torque. One reason I like a bigger grip--it's harder to choke to death. I'll do it without thinking, but realize it after the arrow goes nuts. I don't put leather grips on my bow for the same reason--I like it slick.
