I'll post some pics once I can get my kid to teach me how to use this flippin' digital camera and transfer the pics to the web.[&:]

One more, do you think I should stick with my current pattern?
Africasunrise.... Why in the world would you want to do that? You've got a design that works and that's a good start. Don't abandon it. On the other hand, part of the fun is experimenting with new designs.

Right now I've got a bow that would've gone into the fireplace if I hadn't tried something different with it. One of the reasons I've made so many bows out of boards in the past few years is, boards are inexpensive. If I screw up (and I've had some prize winning faux pas ), all it's really cost me is some time and sweat. I think my next effort will be a full fledged English longbow. I will eventually learn how to steam bend wood so I can make a self-recurve, like Legolas' bow in the Lord of the Rings movies.

There is always something new to try.

Jeff.... You got me pegged, bud.[8D]

Here's the side view of my retread bow.;)

Screwed up the front view, so I'll have to take another pic of it.[&:]

Try the pic of my linen backed and painted flatbow.
