Why oh why........

Why is it that somedays I can really stoke the bull and somedays can't even hit the target?

I went out this morning and couldn't hit squat...... I just couldn't concentrate on the spot..... Kept staring at the arrow[:'(]

Got back at it this afternoon and couldn't hardly miss:) Everything was smooth and I couldn't quit concentrating on the SPOT:D It definitely feels good when everything is clicking.........

To answer my own question :D................ I hadn't worked on form in a week or two...... Before I started tonight, I shot 15 arrows or so on the bale and low and behold my shooting was excellent.......... Who'd a thunk it? :D

Same here some days I have it and some I dont. The other day I was at the range shooting with some guy I met out there, I have never shot that tight of groups at 20 yards. He realy thought I knew what I was doing.I shot 2 knocks off that day. The next day I had a hard time at 18 yards.

Iseldom work on form. Should do it more.

It happens to everyone. And I think one of the biggest reason is concentration. Any little distration in general can really through an archer off. You did the right thing by putting the bow down for a while.

Answered your own question. I reckon it happens to all of us--sometimes I feel like I can pick out a fly's footprint and focus on it, sometimes I can't focus on anything. Just takes more practice.
