arrow rests

Was wondering has anyone tried a drop away rest on a recurve?I seen an advertisment of a MACH4 ,cordless and inertia-activated.Sounds like a winner, total fletching clearance and you could use Duravanes.Just asking and I know its geting high tech but was wondering if anyone has tried it.Thanks for your time.

RE: arrow rests

The only experiance I have with a drop away rest was on a freinds $1200 Mathews compound. I shot it last fall a few times, it is one of the reasons I switched to a longbow. I felt like thatguy (cant think of his name for the life of me, 10 points to anyone who gets it), who draws those picture ofelaborateinventionsconstructedto do a simple task.WHAT IS HIS NAME,this will bother meall night.

It was scary how fast that bow shot, I would try the tec. form they might have more to say.
