RE: Getting there!!!
whitecloudhunter If you can come up with $300 or so, a Hoyt Gamemaster is a hard sucker to beat. As LBR knows, I've shot/bought/traded/sold a LOT of bows and I've only kept 2 - my Adcock longbow and my Hoyt Gamemaster

RE: Getting there!!!
do you guys think it would be better to check out shops around here or look around on the internet for one? and what would you suggest for a beginner, a long bow or recurve?

RE: Getting there!!!
I would say get one from someone local, the internet is no place to get something as personal as a bow. As for which bow is better for a beginer that is up to you, nether is better or worse for a beginer. I got a long bow just becauseI THINK THEY ARE MORE HARD CORE. Recurves are just as cool and fun to shoot. I just like the long bow better, this is coming from someone who has been at this for about a year, soooooo.
