Nock height for 3 under?
What nock height do I use for 3 under...... Also, how do I measure it? From the bottom of the bow square or from the center of the bow square?

RE: Nock height for 3 under?
I use the square for starting point only, about a 1/4 inch high. Then I will shoot a couple arrows, if they fly good I will start paper tuning . My knock alays ends up about 1/2 above the normal.

RE: Nock height for 3 under?
I just used the old guess and test method, never much for measuring. I use alittle electrical tape for a nock and just move it up or down ass needed. It will slid rather easy.
Why did ya chose 3 fingures under, for me it feels real uncomfortable? How dose it work for ya? |
RE: Nock height for 3 under?
If your bow is tillered for shooting 3-under, your nock point should be just like it is on any other bow. If it's tillered for split finger, it will likely have to be 1/4 - 1/2" higher, or even more. Bareshaft tuning will get you as close as anything else.

RE: Nock height for 3 under?
My nocking point is 7/8" shooting 3 fingers under, however it depends on the tiller of the bow. It seems a bit high but thats what works for me and my bow and equipment. Most folks I know have nocking points between 1/4" and 1/2". Paper tuning is the best way to tell.
