Is this the same buck ??

Is this the same buck ??
OK- take a look at this photo of two bucks. They are photos taken 7 days apart. I first thought that the photo taken on 7/26 was of a 9 pointer, but the more I study the photo, the more I'm starting to feel he's the same buck as the photo on the left taken 7 days earlier.
I know the first thing someone will make note of is the difference in the left browtine. But remember, the 7/26 photo is taken 7 days later- could a browtine grow that much in 7 days?
The other obvious difference is the right G4- it's clearly there in the 7/20 photo, but in the 7/26 photo (due to the angle) I'm starting to feel it's hidden by the right G5.
Other similarities include markings on both necks & the shape/line formed by the white underhair on the rear right leg. So give me your feedback as a "percentage chance of it being the same buck".
Thanks,
Rob

The buch on the left looks like it has 1 more tines on the left set, and his nose looks longer and skinner.
I might be wrong but it looks like two different bucks.

In my area - no doubt they would be the same buck - there would not be 2 this size and similar enough to even wonder.
I think they are the same deer -
The two angles couldn't be much more different - so its hard to compare -
Hopefully you'll get another one to confirm both - but I agree with you

No they are different bucks. Look at the end of the antlers on both bucks. One is more blunt that the other...

I would say yes they are the same and reason being is the right G2 grows thick @ the bottom and then thins out about half way up the tine.
It appears you can see this transition "SLIGHTLY" on the earlier photo and that's why I pick yes

I think there is a really good chance that this is the same buck. If they are not the same buck, they are without a doubt out of the same gene pool. Great looking deer, I hope you are able to on him/them this fall. Good luck!

This has been a very entertaining thread. I thank everyone who voted and posted replies. Now, here's some food for thought:
Can you tell I think it's the same deer? Believe me- it would sure be better for me if they were two different deer.
