Default 82 degrees, 25-30 MPH wind, Buck down!!! (Updated with pics)

Guys shot a nice buck this evening. Getting things squared away. Pics and story to come. I'm guessing 130-135.

Just dropped him off at the butcher. Man conditions were terrible. Came a hair from not even going out. Got in the stand about 4:30 and didn't see anything but a basket rack 8 and a few does until right before dark. I was actually disgusted with the wind and had had enough. About 5 minutes before last shooting light, I decided I was ready to go to the house. I had just pulled my bow rope up and was getting ready to lower my bow when for some reason I looked behind me and seen two deer walking my way. I thought both were doe. As they approached I could tell that the lead deer was a decent buck. However, it wasn't light enough to tell exactly what he had. I could see decent G2's and decided if a shot presented I was going to take it. He jumped the fence behind me and came out from underneath me and gave me a 17 yard, slightly quartering away shot. I drew, stopped him, and tripped the release. He mule kicked and ran about 100 yards across the cut bean field and I watched him collapse. Perfect shot. At this point I still didn't know exactly what I was gonna walk up on. All I knew was he was a decent buck with pretty nice G2's. It's amazing how it always seems to come together when the conditions are at their worst. I'm elated. I was hoping to down a little larger of a buck this year but I still have one buck tag left. The absence of a G3 on his right side really hurts his score. However, he does have alot of character with a split brow, split G2 and a small split on his right main beam. Irough scored him at 128 7/8. I will double check my math before I enter him in the contest. I'm tired and worn out. I will post him on the scorecard thread tomorrow. Here are some pics.
