rage broadheads

Default rage broadheads

anyone have any experience with these new heads? they are getting a lot of press but I am a little leary of mechanicals after having bad experiences with the spitfires?

they are nothing like jack knife style mechanicals. i cant say ive read a bad review about them.

they open from the rear and take hardly ANY energy to open. they leave an entrance hole unlike most expandables. most guys say their entrance is bigger than their full sized exit would.

i bought a pack of rocky mountain snypers. i believe they were the first rear opening head out there. been around a while now. think rage bought them out or something along those lines...but they are essentially the same except rage has a bigger cutting diameter. my snypers have a 1 3/8th inch cut. they open by passing through a plastic bag. i couldnt believe that.

i use them i love them u should see the hole they put in the doe i shot...incredible

made a very big hole in the doe I shot too. But, I'm not going to be buying them again. the blades pop out with the slightest bump. So, you have to be EXTREMELY carefull before the shot. All 3 (or 2) blades need to be tucked in.

I'm still leary about them too. I've heard a ton of good things about them, but mechanicals scare me.
