Default Torqueless on BowTech Review

I just got my Torquless grip mounted on my '06 Old Glory. I'm real happy with the feel of this grip. I was having serious trouble getting consistant hand placement on the factory BowTech grip but the "nose" on this new grip really lets your hand slide in to a consistant spot every time. It's a huge improvement. As a stock maker I can't say that I'm all that impressed with the craftsmanship on the fit. I had to touch up the edges a lot more than expected to get the grip to slide into position on the riser and there is still a gap on the right side where I can see someone slipped/goofed while cutting the radius onthe top edge. Delivery time was good and response time after I placed my order was almost immediate, even on a Sunday just to verify that everything was as I wanted it on the order. Turned out that I decided to change the color and they got me taken care of, no questions asked. I'm overall real happy with the purchase though I would have liked to see a better fit out of the box. However, I think they specialize in Matthews grips and hopefully we'll see some improvement of the BowTech fit as they gain some experience with them. I will say this from the whole experience; Man does BowTech use some adhesive on their grips! I had to take the old one off in pieces! (Once the factory cables wear out I'll make a new set of yellow/black twisted ones to match the grip.)

You can just make out the overcut radius on the top edge in this picture. Guess I'm just a perfectionist but that's my only beef with this grip.

Ordered new grips for my Ally from Bob Lambeth. Hope to have them here in a few days. I couldn't ever get a consistant grip on my bow either.

I did, the same thing on my tomkat, it felt like I was holding a 2x4.
But I just had to look at the plastic grip and it came off.
the bowtech wooden grip which I replaced did the trick, no more hand movement.....

I used a marine sealant (not adhesive) called ProSeal 34. It has similar properties to silicon but this way I may actually be able to get it off again if I have to.
