Bow opinions

I am about to buy a bow and I have no clue what to do. I have two
options in front of me and I would like your input on what is the
best option. One is a Hoyt Enticer with carbinite limbs and it is a
98 series bow. The other option is a PSE Tazman pro series bow that I think is a 98 or 99 modle. They have both barly been used and are in great shape. Please help out with any info you all have.

RE: Bow opinions

You must know your draw length first before you buy a used bow and be sure it fits your length. Too long and you will hit your arm with the bow string and it will be less accurate. Too short and you will be giving up performance because of a shorter than necessary power stroke at the shot. The string and cables are fairly costly to replace if you can find a source for them at all so look at their condition also. I just made a set for a friend's Reflex Bighorn and he checked at a dealer for a price and was quoted $65.00 for the set so they do make up a large part of the cost of a bow. Good luck.

You can't go wrong with PSE. I have had 3 over the last 15 years and have had no problems.
