Easton NEX-X75 shafts

I was looking at this new shaft and with the HIT insert at the end it looks to be skinnier for about the last inch or so.

Doesn't it seem that this change in shaft diameter will cause some to have longer arrows because your accuracy would severely suffer if the skinny part of the arrow made contact with the arrow rest. I was really interested but I don't think I will be able to shoot the same arrow length as I am now.

Whats everyones input?

Hmm....I am not sure what the gain could possibly be from those. I agree, I would be leary of them. But at the same time, if Easton makes them, they must have some merit.
