Crimson offset broadheads
 

I am still having trouble getting by broadheads to group with my field points. I have heard that Crimson makes a 3 blade broadhead that has an offset which makes the arrow spin more thus being more accurate. Ever hear of this?

secondly offset. which end of the arrow do I look down to determine offset of my vanes? Nock or point?

lastly, does anyone know what offset the crimson broadheads are, left or right?

Look down the nock end of the arrow. Which ever way your vane or feather goes is the offset.

I would stay away from Crimson Talons. They are not very durable. I have heard several bad stories about the blades breaking when they were shot into the target.

I had the same problem as you. I couldn't get my broadheads to group with my field tips. They would not even stay on the target half of the times. You can put a good helical on your arrows. This will help stabilize your arrows. You do not want your arrows to stabilize from the front. This will not help with your grouping problem.

You also need to tune your bow. You can download the Easton Tuning guide and follow the rules. You will have great broadhead flight in no time.

I agree the heads are not real durable and they do not fly any better than conventional heads. learn to tune your bow and use the right amount of fletching and you should be able to get most any head shooting well. here is a link that will help you out.
