How do you "tune" a broadhead?

I read of people saying to tune your broadheads, what do you mean by that and how do you do it? Thanks

RE: How do you "tune" a broadhead?

First you need the correct head weight to the spine of the arrow and optimizing for an adequate FOC.

Usually tuning involves spin testing the arrows with broadhead connected to ensure there is no wobble to the broadhead. This makes certain the broadhead is in the same plane as the arrow shaft. If wobble exists, the broadhead can plane do to the blades steering the arrow, especially if there is not adequate fletch to tame it.

If wobble exists, usually the insert can be heated and spun to align the head to the shaft.

Rob pretty much covered it.
You are really tuning your BOW to SHOOT the broadheads.
