Slick Trick
I tried my first set of Slick Trick 100 gr heads and was having good luck. The problem is, the blades don't seem to tighten up unless I take out the washer. Otherwise you can wiggle one of the blades and it vibrates/rattles if you tap on the shaft. I really like the way they fly, until the blades loosen up. Anyone else have this problem?

RE: Slick Trick
Try to switch out the blades with some other blades, I had the same problem on one of my BH and that is what I diid and it worked don't know why but it did.

RE: Slick Trick
I have been using the Slick Tricks for 3 years, and never seen that issue. I would switch the blades out as well. They are a great head. As you have probably seen their flight is awesome. They put a huge hole in what they hit. All 12 animals that I have shot with the Slick Trick have dropped within sight of the stand. I have found the heads to be very durable as well.

RE: Slick Trick
Good info, I've been debating on using these for the past couple of years and you guys just made my decision. Is paper tunning involved to shoot them or do they shoot like field points?

RE: Slick Trick
im getting them for next fall:D

RE: Slick Trick
For Torontohunter, follow the directions for assembly then spin them to make sure they are on the shaft straight and they should shoot just like the same weight field points.Im good out to 35 yds where my pendulum bottoms out. at 20yds same hole. GGBH

RE: Slick Trick
With any head tuning is involved. I will say that of all the fixed heads I have shot, they are the best flyiing, and most likely to fly with field points. Still have to tune and be sure though. Also make sure the blades are really sharp.

RE: Slick Trick
How do you all sharpen your Slick Trick blades? They really don't seem that sharp to me out of the box.
