Goldtip carbons where? which ones?
 

I have been in archery for a little over a year now and have went through about three dozen arrows. I currently shoot Beman ICS hunter 400 (8.4 gpi). They seem to break easily and not be that durable. I was wondering if there is a good place online to get GoldTip XTs since my pro shop doesn't carry them and I'm tired of going through all those arrows. Every body on here seems to only have good things to say about Goldtip. According to their chart shooting 100 grain tips,70#, 29 inch draw. I am right on the line with the 5575 and 7595. Appreciate all the input.

I get the hunters from tm, I think he posts here. He makes them up with the unibushings for the nock, which is real nice and which will save you arrows if you're shooting groups. He weighs and sorts them so they're close in weight and we keep track of that so that we keep the weight consistent. I don't think you're on the border in terms of spine you definitely need the 7595's, it'll only be 20 grains more, and it's a much more durable shaft. Hope this helps.

Goldtips are great arrows durabilty wise and flight wise. The only bad thing(which really isnt even bad) is that if your border line on stiffness between arrows, they dont tune near as well. If your towards the middle of the spine, i.e. 65 pounds for a 5575, theyll shoot a lot better than say 70 pounds. U might want to go ahead and drop a couple pounds and shoot the 5575s. They'll be plenty fast enough and tune a lot better.

Since we are in this subject, I have a question too. I shoot 60 lbs. with the 5575 shaft. I have hard times with arrow flight being the same. I mean, I would have couples flying ok, then others not grouping the same at all. When I am looking at their chart, I should be shooting 3555. But on the product page, the 3555 said 35-55 lbs and the 5575 is 55-75 lbs. Which shaft should I be shooting instead? My arrow is 25" long with 100 grains head. Thanks for any inputs.
