drop aways and bowtechs
I have heard that because of the limb design and the small amount of cable slide travel that drop aways that hook to the cable slide can be a problem to tune on certain bowtechs. Is this the case?

RE: drop aways and bowtechs
No, at least not with the binary cams. I know several people including myself using a drop-away with no problem assuming it is set up properly.

RE: drop aways and bowtechs
The Equalizer camed bows do have a bit more cable slide travel than their single cam cousins so when attaching the drop away cord to the slide there should be ample room for adjustment.

I've put TTs, NAPs, and HHA drop aways on Patriots, Libertys, Mighty Mites, just about all the BowTechs using the slide to raise them. They've all worked fine.

For what it's worth, I've got a Drop Zone on a Patriot and it works great as far as I'm concerned.

I use the HHA DART drop away. And the proshop has put drop aways on numerous Bowtech of all cam designs.

RE: drop aways and bowtechs
I'm using the drop zone on my Patriot and had zero contact issues after a recent limb swap once I had the proper rockers in place (BTW, for those keeping score, it now pulls 70# maxed:D- finally).
No fletching contact for me. |
