Cable slide problems?

I noticed on my Tomkat last pm that my cable slide on my cable rod had moved some from where it normally was. I dont know when or how it did, but I did notice that i could move it myself by pushing or pulling it. Is this ok? I'm sure it needs to be in a certain postion but i dont know exactly where, & is it ok or not that it moves that easy? I know this sounds like a stupid question. I mean I knoe its a cable SLIDE, hince the word slide which to me means that its ok if it does slide but I'm still stupid to alot of the tech. aspects of a bow & I'm still trying to learn. Thanks

Don't rightly know what you are really asking, but it could be it's sticking a bit in one location. Clean the rod with alcohol and you should be fine. Or replace the slide with a WHITE teflon one.

Check to make sure the screw that holds the rod in the riser is not loose. Is the rod backing out of the riser?

Whadda ya mean too long? We got time to hear how dumb you were for a while. Anyway we could use a little humor.
