shoot through rest

Whats the proper angle to set the prongs on a shoot through. My rest is a TM hunter and I have my tips of the prongs pointing straight toward the threaded hole for the rest in the riser.
Do you think this is to low?

I believe I have mine set at about 45 degrees from level with the riser shelf. I find it gives very good performance, especially since I converted it to drop away style. Be safe.

Just remember, if your shooting well now but adjust your prongs (which it sounds like from what you said are pointing out or "flat"), you'll either need to lower the rest to compensate for the prong/height adjustment, move your nock position (up), or a combination of both.
