Hello Sylvan, I am sure you know what you are doing but from your statements above I would be a little careful. When you said "it" were you referring to that exact bow or just the OG in general? Shooting a bvow with a draw length just a little too long can make a big difference in accuracy.

So what DL did you get 269 fps at 63 lbs and 366 grains? Glad you liked it and yes they are very accurate and forgiving bows. Some people forget that because they get all caught up in the speed but these bows are sweet shooters.

Thanks for the response, I remember talking to you on another thread and in fact you were one of the people I was thinking about when I made this post. You're right about the "it" and I absolutely didn't mean that very bow just that I'm pretty sure I want an OG. As far as draw length, the one I shot was 28" but like I said it felt a little long. I was using my own release so based on that I think I would order a 27 1/2. You're right about the speed too. I know I talked alot about speed in the other threads but when it comes down to it its not a driving reason for me to buy. I just like the way it felt and grouped. Seemed pretty quiet too.

Sorry but I don't know much about presses, the only one I've ever used is the one I built for myself probably about 20-25 years ago. I don't own my own bow shop either. I'm a retired engineer who likes to measure and tinker with archery equipment and have been doing so for many years.

Do you have a point or a question?
