Beman ICS Hunter Arrows
I've seen them advertised as .005 +/- and advertised as .002 +/- in straightness tolerances.. Which is it?

RE: Beman ICS Hunter Arrows
It should be .005 which is down from .006.

That should have all the answers. |
RE: Beman ICS Hunter Arrows
They are now advertised at .003 according to the 2005 catalog Josh
So double that, and you'll have a good minimum starting point for the real specs ;):D Seriously, I'd be curious to see if they have improved them ..they also have a new premium straightness grade (dealer only) @ .001 I wouldn't hold my breath though. |
RE: Beman ICS Hunter Arrows
I have been shooting the ICS Hunters for about three years now. I have seen somewhat of an improvement in straightness tolerance and overall straightness variance in any given dozen over the last year or so. I can't speak to the exact number but I would be leaning more towards .005. Maybe the newest offering have improved. I have not seen the new shipment yet for the local shop but when I do then I will try to comment futher.

RE: Beman ICS Hunter Arrows
They were straight enough to double lung 4 deer last year. I quit using them b/c they are too dang hard to pull from a 3D target. Had to go with a more "slick" finish, ACC.

RE: Beman ICS Hunter Arrows
Were you using camo? They pull much harder than black. I've found the black ICS's to be one of the easier carbons to pull from McKenzie targets. |
