I NEED HELP
Well i bought a switchback about 5 days ago and it groups and shoots awesome. But when the arrow flys i notice a lttle bit of fishtailing, so i bumped my bow from 63 lbs. to 71lbs i maxed it out, and it shoots awesome there is no fishtailing whatsoever. The only problem is, is that i cannot draw 70 lbs. very well, i just shot like 20 arrows a 70 and i cant even feel my arms.[:-] Could this be from the arrows i am shooting 29 in. draw 30 in arrows with a 63lb draw wieght and they fishtail but at 70 lbs with every thing the same the fly fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: I NEED HELP
I think with a couple minor adjustment's to your arrow rest would take care of your fishtailing problem at the lower weight's .

RE: I NEED HELP
What size and length arrow and what point weight are you shooting? It could be that your arrows are overspinned and increasing the draw weight is decreasing the spine making them fly better.

RE: I NEED HELP
I dont know much about all that spine junk but theres a lot of charts out there to help get the right one, or go to a pro shop they could probably fix it.

RE: I NEED HELP
Yeah but don't the switchbacks have a problem with tuning and getting left tears?I would do a search on switchbacks:D

RE: I NEED HELP
Have you tried paper tuning? Also what arrow rest are you using? At 70# the 400's should be way under spined.Be sure and check for arrow, vane contact with your rest.

RE: I NEED HELP
You should be using 300's or the equiv.
