Improperly pressed bow?
I've read about people who had there bows improperly pressed at proshops and it damaged them. How does this happen?

RE: Improperly pressed bow?
Some bows you have to back the limb bolts out. On parallel limb bows, many presses apply pressure too close to the riser, or too far from the limb tips. Some bows the riser will roll, but the limbs are held straight by the rollers. And some people just have a talent for ruining things. No matter what they do.

What precautions should be taken to make sure not to make these mistakes? You can also buy a press from WWAG and do the repairs yourself. It works great on the pararrel style bows. |
RE: Improperly pressed bow?
Josh, I sent WWAG money for one yesterday!
