getting additional poundage

I shoot a mathews legacy set at 70 #s i was woundering if there is any way to get addational poundage say around 75#.I heard that you can twist the bus cable ??? anyone have any ideas. I was also woudering about speed balls that go on the string , they are to increase speed , but wouldn't adding weight to the string slow it down ?anyone tried them ?

Twist your cables and/or purchase an 1/2" longer string. If your looking for additional speed without added weight, purchase a string with 2 less strands. If your shooting an 18 strand string go to a 16.;)

You can do it through trial and error. MARK the draw length, now twist up the cable(s), then twist up the string, play with this until you get the right draw length again. Measure the weight. This pre-loads the limbs a bit, ups the bh, lowers the a-a a bit, but keeps the draw length the same.
