Bowtech Defender Numbers
I finally had time to play with my new Defender. I did a little tweaking with string and cable to get these final measurements. The BC was 70.8#, 28 " draw, 350 grain arrow 305 fps.
Actual: 70.0#, 28.25" draw, 7 9/16" brace height, 31.5" axle-axle. I shot it with peep and loop as well as the factory hush kit. 361 grain GT pro = 298 fps 403 gr ACC 3-60 = 284 fps 452 gr ACC 3-71 = 270 fps It tuned easily with an XL version of the trophy taker. Center shot from the inside of the rest mount was a hair over 1 5/8", so less than what most are seeing on their Allegiance. The efficiency rating on TAP was between 1.33 and 1.35 which is pretty amazing. The cams are dead level in the neutral position, but do toe inwards at full draw due to cam lean, limb twist or whatever so that they point inside the far limb. This does not seem to have any effect on tuning with field points. I will eventually get around to trying some broadheads to see if it makes any difference. All in all a pretty nice little bow that shoots well and extremely FAST!;) |

Those are VERY good speeds for your 28 inch draw length!!!![8D]

RE: Bowtech Defender Numbers
Those are definitely some impressive numbers...very comparable to what I was getting out of my Mighty Mite last season.
