what is the difference between the two..does it really matter witch way you go and why..

Just as they sound. A right helical will spin your arrow clockwise while left helical spins the arrow counterclockwise.

It don't really matter which you choose. Although going with a left helical can cause your field tips to loosen when impacting your target.

Or here.... I know these are pages about feathers, but the same applies for vanes, except vanes can be fletched either way, feathers must match right wing/right helical. Both good info though...
