Scott Archery Little Bitty Goose

I just got this release. I realy like it. When I first started using it the trigger was very smooth and fired when I barely touched it. Now it is not as smooth. It looks like its in slow motion when I try pressing the trigger. I don't know what happened to it. Do you need to oil them? or do I need to adjust the tension in the trigger? What would cause it to do that.

I just read that you need to use a little machine oil if around moisture, what kind of oil do they mean? Examples? Thanks

You can use any type of scentless lubricant. They also have an adjustment screw right behind the trigger. Jerry

Or you could just put a drop of oil on it. I can understand being scent conscious but really guys do you think one little drop of oil is going to have more scent than your whole human body regardless of what precautions you take. Not to mention the fact that what little amount of smell there is, is going to dissipate rather quickly.

I agree Silentassassin ,one drop of oil isn't going to make any difference at all ,I've never had to use anything on my release it's just keep's working perfect .I plan on buying the LIL Goose this season .I like the idea of them being so small and fitting in the palm of your hand and I like the rope idea as well. The only thing that I'd change would be the wrist strap ,I'd change it to a leather one with a slip buckle.

Thanks for the help. Mine has the leather strap with buckle. I really like it.
