Overdraws
Experimented with them years ago,and found that they were very critical to bow torque.
The idea of using a lighter shorter arrow is great, but is your accuacy the price? What is your opinion? Joe |
RE: Overdraws
Removed the overdraws from both my bows for the very reason you state.
Also had problems obtaining consistently good arrow flight. Edited by - c903 on 09/06/2002 13:17:38 |
RE: Overdraws
No need for them anymore with todays carbon arrows.

RE: Overdraws
even in the day when overdraws where all the rage I only found that I liked them to reduce arrow spine for longer draw lengths. I still know guys who are 31+ draw lengths and they still use them to just knock down a few notches in arrow spine. Other than that I agree with the new carbons they are more or less becoming a thing of the past except for the shorter 1" models which don't seem to be that bad for the average shooter to handle.

RE: Overdraws
Also with a drop away rest (many are set up as slight overdraws anyway) you can get away with a little more overdraw
