Overdraws
 

Experimented with them years ago,and found that they were very critical to bow torque.
The idea of using a lighter shorter arrow is great,but is your accuacy the price?
What is your opinion?

Removed the overdraws from both my bows for the very reason you state.

Also had problems obtaining consistently good arrow flight.

No need for them anymore with todays carbon arrows.

even in the day when overdraws where all the rage I only found that I liked them to reduce arrow spine for longer draw lengths. I still know guys who are 31+ draw lengths and they still use them to just knock down a few notches in arrow spine. Other than that I agree with the new carbons they are more or less becoming a thing of the past except for the shorter 1" models which don't seem to be that bad for the average shooter to handle.

Also with a drop away rest (many are set up as slight overdraws anyway) you can get away with a little more overdraw
