Advise Needed!

I Followed Everyone's Advise Regarding Tuning My New Bow And Here Is Where I Am At. I Paper Tuned At 8 Feet And Shot 4 Arrows. All Shots Reflected That Nock Was To High. It Was Originally Set At Approximately 1/4" Or A Nock Width Above Level. I Proceeded To Lower The Nock About Half The Distance (1/8") And Shot Another 4 Arrows. Though It Improved, It Still Appears That The Nock End Is Entering The Paper Slightly High. However, When I Back Up To 15 Yards And 25 Yards It Is Perfect. I Also Bare Shaft Tuned At 15 Yards And 20 Yards Shooting Several Groups Of Three. They Were All Tight And Within Several Inches. Since The Bow Is Shooting Well At These Intermediate Distances, Should I Be Concerned That The 8 Feet Shots Are Not As Tuned As The 15-25 Yard Shots? Besides, You Never Shoot That Close Anyway. Should I Lower The Nock Point Some More And Continue To Tune? Should I Try To Tune At Further Distances? Though I Have Previously Used My Bow Strictly For Hunting And I Have Considered Participating In Some Local 3-D Shoots. I Would Appreciate Any Thoughts Or Suggestions. Thanks Again

RE: Advise Needed!

You did say it got better, so why not adjust it a little more and go for the bullet hole. Some bows will shoot better with a level nocking point depending on your setup. You can always go back to where you have it. Just my 2 cents.[&:]
