Limb Savers..
I purchased some limb savers today and was wondering if it matters where I put them. I know most people place them towards the tops of the limbs kinda by the cams, but would it hurt if I put them down lower. Would it cause them not to work right?

RE: Limb Savers..
You didn't say if you had a solid or split limb bow. The pro shop installed mine about 2 inches from the limb fork on my solid limb bows. I am not sure where it is on my xtec,(split limb), but if you can bare with me, I will get it out of the case tomorrow and measure it for you. Aim for the boiler room. Bhunter32.

I think it says on the package. If I am not mistaken, you want them as close to the cams as you can get without interferring with the cables. If you put them close to the riser, you won't really be doing any good, and most of the vibration is toward the tips.

RE: Limb Savers..
You put them far out on the limbs because there is more vibration on the ends of the limbs for them to absorb. The closer to the riser you put them the less vibration they absorb.

I put big Limb Savers as far out as they will go on my limbs, and minis on top of my power limbs under my outboards, and just touching my string. But of course you cant do that. :)
