Frank,Rob or any Hoyt shooter??????
 

As most of you guys know I am a die-hard Mathews shooter so this is very hard for me <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.CRYING....lol
I am looking for a bow to shoot indoor spots with I don't really want to re-arrange my Mathews to do this.
I have the oppurtunity to buy a decked out Hoyt Striker2 (sight unseen) for a VERY good price. What can you guys tell me about this bow?????? I know it's an older model and no longer on Hoyt's website. Anything you can tell me would be of help.ATA,Brace,2cam or single,forgiveness???????

I have an Oassis for spots, but gather that is rather passe. Someone won an indoor spot shoot at a major FITA euro shoot last spring shooting a Mathews C2. I'll let the other Hoyt experts weigh in on the rest of it.

That is the bow I used to use for 3d and now I hunt with it.I love this bow and sold it at the beginning of 2001 and ended up trading a new bow to get it back.

I have the 1 cam Redline with 75% letoff.The a-a is 38&quot; and the brace is 6.75 but it is a very forgiving bow.

They did make it in a 2 cam but I don't know anything about it.

I would like to add that all the speeds are given using a fast flight string so the actuall speed if you use a good string will be a bit lower.

I shoot the Striker 2 with Redline HO cam at 27 1/2&quot; with my hunting arrow (350 gr.) it shoots high 240's-250 ish (52 pounds). Use it for 3D, hunting and for the heck of it was shooting some field (to improve form). Shot my highest field groups with it, so either that says I stink with my Oasis or that this is a good bow. TFox gave you the right specs. While it may not be considered an indoor bow I think it is a very good all around bow.

I shoot a Hoyt Striker II and absolutely love it. I have shot Hoyt my whole life and the Striker II is the easiest tuning bow that I have encountered. Perfect arrow flight with little hassle is a beautiful thing. You won't be disappointed with this bow!

I am really looking for just a dog slow,round wheeled,low let-off spot bow.
I just hate to tear my 3D rigs down to shoot spots with.I would like to have a smooth shooter for that 60 arrows in a row.

:)...I don't even have to answer your original question.....the others did it for me...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.

But to address the last statement of your last post....if you can find one then I would go with a Hoyt Aspen with one of the longer limb options and the Hoyt Accuwheels. That bow was a pure dream to shoot indoor spots with.

As for their current lineup....the Protec with Accuwheels and either XT3000 or LXPro limbs would get the nod...
