I have been shooting a Muzzy for about a year now. All I can say is it is an excellent rest, and I have not had any problems. It makes tuning a snap, it's forgiving, and durable. yet it's ugly, but so am I, and I still work very well thank you!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Of all the fall away rests I have seen the mirage in my mind is the best design. The reasons are simple.

1. I don't like a lot of &quot;junk&quot; hanging on my bow like arms attaching to my cable slide or having a ton of linkages connecting things like the MZE. I am sure a lot of people like it but it's not for me, I think the simpler the better! The mirage works for me, the MZE doesn’t.

2. Some rest use inertia, which can create problems too, if you hit the front of your bow while getting ready for a shot the rest, goes off. Then you have to reset it. The mirage doesn’t do this like the trapdoor does.

3. Cheap linkup on the cable slide and small cradle design like the NAP products just don't work for me either.... That screw in the slide bothers me. The mirage doesn’t have this problem either.

To me the only real answer in a drop away is the Mirage. I also know for a fact that Golden Key has great customer service and they will bend over backwards to help you.

I figured it out...I needed to make the &quot;rope&quot; lots longer,

But - now the wire rest &quot;slaps&quot; down against the frame of the rest with a mild snap...I put on some extra felt and it tamed it a little..

The rest is pretty sweet - I am still not used to having so many parts moving. I shot a course yesterday and a twice I got a strap (binos/water pack/sling/rangefinder) caught in it and it caused the spring to wrap up and kinda cock itself somehow, when I drew it caused a delay and then sprung up sending the arrow off the rest...it was my fault, but I can see that happening on a bull...ouch.

I shot a very good couple rounds with the rest and have not had any contact with the fletching since adjustment...for form I was shooting 80 yards - and with the exception of dropping my arm a time or two I was putting 6 arrows in a pie plate...at 30 yards - too tight to aim at the same spot!.....
