Devastator Crossbow Disassemble Trigger?

Fellow Archers,

I have Bear-Jennings devastator crossbow and want to disassemble, clean and dry lub the trigger mechanism. (I have worked on my own compound bows, releases, and firearms for many years.) I would like to have a schematic and/or disassembly-assembly instructions and/or tips from someone experienced with this particular crossbow. Help, please.

You might want to try the cross gun forum or gun forum as I think this one's for bows! Don

DoninVa,

Thanks for the tip. Please post a link for the cross gun forum if you have one. I'm thinking some of the guys on this forum will have some crossbow knowledge.

here ya go Roger. We have a few that own crossbows here, but they are not a real big thing here. Some guys here sell them in thier shops as well. I thought maybe one might respond, but it usually doesn't happen. Normally you don't get a lot of hits on a crossbows topic unless it starts a bashing or flame type thread.

Here is a link to another thread I started with a couple of links.

Good luck,

Roger, I apolgize for my comment. I am extremly aganist cross bows in archery season and Virginia is concidering this. I'm not aganist cross bows, just using them during archery season. They would be much better suited for gun season as it takes the same amount of time and practice to get proficent with one. Don
