Default RE: arrow weight

Yes I think it's too lite. I tent to stay on the med. heavy side with my arrow set-ups though. Like authur said ,your leaving to much energy with the bow. Do you have a lot of vibration and noise as you release the arrow? Even with my short draw lenght(27.5 AMO) I stay with 5 grains per for target and 7+per for hunting. I have better groups with fixed broad heads @ 7+grains per lb. You must be a big guy and I'm sure you feel comfortable @ 80lbs. Did you ever consider droping your draw weight 8-10 lbs? With most of the the newer bows you can achive better speeds and energy at lower poundage then the bows 5-10 years older. My accuracy tends
to be better @ 62 lbs down from 70. I also found I can play with more combos in arrows and point weight. Just a thought. Jerry
