BK2
Well guys I sold my pearson spoiler lite and puchased a bk2 . It is awesome very fast and deadly accurate I finaly have a bow that shoots muzzys and feild points in the same hole . I guess I'll have to try to fine tune my other bows to do the same as I know they will do more damage than my magnus , but I realy dont have a complaint with those either . The birth certificate says 317 fps with a 300 grain arrow . I was impressed with how quiet it was I think I was expecting more noise from sutch a fast bow , I guess if I was useing a lighter arrow it would be noiser .I'm going to my friends house this afternoon to crono it and will let you know the outcome . Its set up like this
61 lbs 28" muzzy rest string leaches true peep 1 brass nock 10" stealth stab 2 simms units in back limb savers 27" cx200's 100 grain 3 blade muzzys thats 350 grains of arrow 290 fps Oh yah the guy I sold the peason to killed 2 deer with it this weekend ? 65 lbs. 28" draw limb savers loop peep whiskers flatliner x-treme 5pin Bodoodle pro-lite 27.5" Goldtip Big Game 100's 3 grain per inch weight tubes 125 grain T-heads 545 total grain weight 252 fps thru chrono 77 ft.lbs.of kinetic energy quiet and very lethal GOD Bless, jtpepper Take a kid hunting, for their sake |
RE: BK2
what would the birth certificate say on one that has 50# limbs and 29 inch draw. would this be with a 250 grain arrow
you can use your pepper spray my 12 gauge with 3 inch slugs works fine |
RE: BK2
I'm sure it would be arround 320 for option 2 340 for option 1

RE: BK2
According to their specs it'd be 322-328 with the high brace version and 333-339 with the low. It would be at 5 grains per lb. Average 1 FPS for every 5 grains your arrow weighs over 250 grains.
Gives me at least 10 more ft/lbs than my draw weight, which is nice. |
RE: BK2
They deduct 7-10 fps. from the advertised IBO speeds for a 50# bow and they deduct 4-6 fps. for a 60# bow. And yes they would test it with a 250 gr. arrow at 50#. I hope this answers your question.

RE: BK2
are these speeds you are giving me for a 29 inch draw or a 30 inch draw the 7 to 10 fps less with a 50# limbs
you can use your pepper spray my 12 gauge with 3 inch slugs works fine |

I was a bit worried about such a stiff spine. How do your's fly? Any trouble getting broadheads to group with your field tips? Thanks, |
RE: BK2
Straightarrow,Sorry I'm just now getting back to ya,been away for awhile. My bow seem's to like a stiff arrow.I shoot either the 7595's with 100 grain tip or the big game with 125's.When paper tuning,I get bullet hole's with this setup. If I go to 145 grain tips on the big games I loose my bullet hole, bad tear.My muzzy's fly the same on the 7595's and the T-heads fly the same on my Big Games.I only shoot my broadheads out to 45 yrd's and they still fly like my field tip's.
I love my setup and my bow is really quiet for such a fast bow.Now on the other end I also shoot a 5575 with 85 grain tip that weigh's 355 grain's.This little sucker flies out at 311 fps at 68 lbs,295 fps at 60 lbs.I make my friends, who think they have a fast bow,mad when I shoot this one.God Bless, jtpepper Take a kid hunting, for their sake |
