With feathers they are about 13%. I don't remember the exact number.

I haven't figured it out with the quick spins but I suspect about 11 - 12 %.

thanks for the info! not that it makes a lot of difference, but were those 4" or 5" feathers? i am assuming they were fletched at 120 degs.

one more thing, (i hate to bug you about it) but you don't by chance know what the foc is with your feathered arrow and a 100 gr. tip do you?

sho-me, ever been here-

http://home.att.net/~sajackson/arrow_ce.html

You can design arrows to your heart's content and see total weight and FOC. Lots of other neat stuff on that site as well...

yeah, i have. :) i figured someone would suggest the site. imo, i personally don't think that the foc calculator is 100% correct. i just thought i would ask someone that has the actual set-up to give me some numbers. but, yeah, you're right, i guess i should see what bowjackson has to say...[8D]

For FOC, I figured it's plenty close enough for me.

I have not figured it with a 100 grain tip but I suspect it would be very close to the same as with a 125 and the quick spins. About 11% give or take a smidge.

BTW, three 4" feathers at 120* on as much right helical as the clamp would allow me to place on these shafts.
