I'm having a real hard time visualizing how anyone could shoot a left handed bow right handed and actually use a sight without leaning your head way over to the right to see the sight window?[&:]
If you've got that mastered I'd suggest getting a right handed bow , you'll be busting nocks all day!;)

Bowfanatic, I don't have to lean my head way over to see through the sights, I hardly lean my head at all. [8D]
I would love to get a right handed bow, but I don't have the money. For now I'll just be happy with what I've got (remind you It was free :D) and see how it goes. In about 2 weeks Iam going out to see if I can get a deer with it.:D

I hate to see the flak your going to get when you said you have pulled this bow you got for free which is a left handed bow and you are shooting it right handed and you went to walmart and grabed some accessories for it and now you want to take it out and go deer hunting IMO I think the mighty whitetail deserves a little more respect from us hunters than you are going to give them ( you also said you installed the rest upside down yikes) anyway I think the best thing to do would be to get yourself some proper equipment or learn to shoot left handed and hold off hunting until next year. Just my opinion, but to each his own.

If your not leaning your head way over and your still using the sight , where are you anchoring?

I'd love to watch you shoot.[:o]

snowman69, when I posted that I knew I would get some flak. I made it sound a little worse than it really was. I wasn't that clueless about what I was doing (as far as accessories) except that i didn't know it was a left handed bow. (My uncle is right handed so I just figured it was aright handed bow, I guess he was left eye dominant.) Anyway, I took the rest off and put the old one back on, it is the kind that sticks to the side and is just a piece of rubber sticking out that the arrow rests on, re-sighted it in and have been shooting it for a week now every day and can shoot 2in groups at 20yds, and arrows rub each other at 10yds. I to also believe that the whitetial , or any animal for that matter, deserves our greatest respect. I feel really confident at 20yds and under and will only shoot at a deer if it is under 20yds. Sorry to sound so disrespectfull.[&o]

BOWFANATIC, I anchor with the vane, fletching, whatever you wanna call it, touching between my lips and the peep sight rests on the right side of my nose.
